Spey Gathering on the Muskegon River

Toni Karuvaara, from Guidelins Sweden will be demonstrating Underhand Casting and using Spey casts with a single hander and shooting heads.

Jack Cook, representing Guideline North America, will be explaining and demonstration Guideline products from a West Coast perspective. This will be more of a fishing than a casting demo.

Peter Humphreys, Guideline Pro Staff, FFF THCI/CI, will present a basic spey casting demo, coveritn fine tuning your casting skills (anchor, D-loop, and applying the 180 degree rule).

Neil Houlding FFF THCI/CI, G.Loomis Pro Staff, will be available to assess your spey outfit and will freely give advice on your rod/reel/line combination and your technique or lack thereof.

Peter S.C. will be giving a talk with handouts on fly presentation using shooting heads and full sinking lines.

If time allows later in the day, Peter and Neil will give a demonstration of fishing and casting from a boat.

Ari Leiman from Finland will be demonstrating tying tube and pike flies.
